National team matches, the ÖFB Cup final and the station voice of ÖFB TV: this is where Ronny is at home.

Stadium announcer Ronny Leber · German & English
The emotional supreme discipline.
Since 2011, Ronny Leber has been the voice of the Austrian national football team and the ÖFB Cup final. He makes your stadium, arena or hall shake – and stays calm when the floodlights suddenly go out.
78 international matches · 15 ÖFB Cup finals in a row
TV & Media

Anyone can announce line-ups and goalscorers. A good stadium announcer sets the emotional tone of the whole evening: he welcomes the fans as soon as the gates open, builds the tension up to kick-off, celebrates every goal with the crowd and finds the right words in critical moments.
At ÖFB international matches, Ronny works as stadium host and music director, at the ÖFB Cup final as the neutral voice for both teams. He coordinates closely with the director, music, sponsors and security team – so that every moment is spot on, from the warm-up to the award ceremony.

Experience
On 25 March 2011, at the 2–2 draw against Belgium, Ronny Leber took the microphone for the Austrian Football Association for the first time. Since then he has missed hardly a single home game of the national team and not a single cup final – from the 2–1 win against Germany in Klagenfurt after a kick-off postponed three times to the sold-out World Cup qualifier in Linz.
His first world championship as stadium host was the 2011 American Football World Championship in Austria. Add to that ice hockey with the Vienna Capitals, boxing galas as ring announcer and the Ski World Cup on the Arlberg.

Tested live
Nations League, Austria vs. Denmark, June 2022: half an hour before kick-off, the floodlights in the Ernst Happel Stadium go out. Nobody knows how long it will take or whether the match can be played at all.
Together with stadium host Andy Marek, Ronny keeps the fans entertained: with music, singing together and a wave of lights from thousands of phone torches. The idea came from Ronny – reported on by oe24, ORF.at, Süddeutsche Zeitung and 11Freunde, among others.
